About Us
We’re glad you’re here.
Cynthia Bragdon, Owner, Urban Indigo Art and Design LLC
Welcome to the creative space of Urban Indigo Art and Design! A Bay Area native, I began my career in Graphic Design after earning a BFA from the Academy of Art College and USF. I soon changed my career after falling in love with ceramics. My ceramics sold all across the US in design stores and galleries which led me to opening my own design store, Urban Indigo in 2004. Urban Indigo soon became an award-winning shop located in Oakland California and most recently in Castro Valley California. In 2024 I transitioned the retail shop to Urban Indigo Art and Design, a place for workshops, live figure drawing, art gallery, community events, and a place to do my own art in Castro Valley. I’m very excited to share this next venture with you!
Located at 20405 Santa Maria Avenue in Castro Valley, California.
