Refund policy

CLASS AND WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Full refunds will be issued for any class or workshop cancelled by Urban Indigo Art and Design
  • For a full refund, you must notify Urban Indigo Art and Design online at least 7 calendar days (one week) before the class begins.   
  • Refund requests made less than 7 days notice are not guaranteed. Each case will be reviewed on an individual basis. If approved, the refund will incur a 50% processing fee.
  • Failure to attend a program (no shows) will not be granted a refund.   
  • Please refer to individual cancellation policies on each class description.                              

PURCHASE EXCHANGES

If you received your urbanindigo.com order and aren't totally in love with it, you are welcome to exchange it within 30 days of the ship date for an exchange (less shipping if applicable), for store credit.

The merchandise must be unworn with original packaging invoice included. We'll send you an email as soon as your exchange has been received and processed. The exchange may take 5 business days to post.

Urban Indigo does not provide pre-paid shipping labels for exchanges, so you may exchange orders through the carrier of your choice. We recommend using a trackable/insured shipping method to guarantee successful delivery of your exchange.

Items sent back to us without first requesting an exchange will not be accepted.

GIFT EXCHANGES

If you received a gift purchased from our website, you may exchange it within 30 days of the ship date. An urbanindigo.com gift certificate will be emailed to you for the amount of the item(s). 

You must include the original packing slip, the order reference number and your email address to receive a store credit code. If you do not have this information we're happy to locate it! Email us at online@urbanindigo.com with the gift giver’s full name or email address so we can find the order information. 


DAMAGES AND ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right, contact us at online@urbanindigo.com . We want you to love your purchase and we stand behind our quality.


Exceptions / non-exchangeable items
Certain types of items cannot be exchanged, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept exchanges for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept exchanges on sale items or gift cards. 

Urban Indigo is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.


EXCHANGES
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to exchange the item you have, and once the exchange is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your exchange, and let you know if the exchange was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically credited for an exchange (less shipping when applicable) within 5 business days.
