This is a part time position.
Work hours available for this position:
Four days per week: Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/One day on the weekend
Hours: 10:45am – 5:45pm
Salary: $18 - $22 per hour

Purchasing Assistant

Urban Indigo, an award winning independent home decor,

jewelry and gift store is seeking a Product Manager. Your ability to 

efficiently and accurately track and process product from the time it is 

ordered until it hits the sales floor, your excellent time management skills and

your desire for involvement in retail will be a plus. We offer

Product Manager job tasks and responsibilities:

  • Oversees daily incoming flow of products. Accurately reviews purchase orders and matches shipped items to those that were ordered, notes any discrepancies, enters products into our inventory management POS system, and updates inventory databases.
  • Ensures that all items are properly tagged and back stocked
  • Works with vendors to resolve inventory discrepancies. Maintains relationships with our vendors.
  • Tracks orders in our Purchase Plan and Delivery Calendar
  • Runs product sales reports
  • Maintains and updates reorder reports
  • Tracks back orders
  • Monitors inventory accuracy through cycle counting
  • Restocks merchandise on the sales floor as necessary
  • Leads annual Physical Inventory

 The ideal Product Manager will:

  • Be able to lift up to 25lbs and use stairs
  • Have retail POS experience
  • Be available during peak holiday times: October, November and December.
  • Be available for Inventory Days, January 10th and 11th, 2022
  • Be proficient in retail POS systems, the Mac, excel and Google sheets
  • Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Be able to work independently with little or no supervision

Work hours available for this position:
Four days per week: Tuesday through Friday
Hours: 10:30 – 5:45, Hours can be flexible
Non-exempt hourly pay: DOE
